Our Identity
The Accounting Students Club is a pre-professional organization for accounting and business students at the University of Illinois Chicago. Since 1972, we have connected UIC students with the firms and professionals who shape the accounting industry. Our programming brings members face to face with recruiters, takes them inside Chicago’s leading firms, and builds the professional skills that go beyond the classroom. We work with the full support of the UIC Accounting Department and the College of Business Administration’s Career Services Office.

We believe successful careers are built on genuine relationships, consistent effort, and a commitment to giving back. That is why we balance professional growth with community service and connection among our members. By investing in each other and in the communities around us, we develop professionals who lead with integrity long after they leave UIC.

Our mission is to prepare UIC accounting students for successful careers through meaningful employer connections, practical skill development, and a lasting commitment to ethics and service. We strive to make the path into the profession clearer and more accessible for every member, regardless of their year or background. Our goal is for every student to leave UIC confident, well prepared, and ready to make an impact.
